GMC is the commercial vehicle division of General Motors. GMC is taken from the first letter of its English name: General Motro Corporation. General Motors is number one among the 500 largest companies in the United States and number two among the world's largest industrial companies. With 800,000 employees in the United States and around the world in 40 countries, the GM family produces a total of 9 million vehicles annually.

What is a GMC?

General Motors will make only truck models, and its sales organization will be combined with Buick and Pontiac in order to be fully operational. GMC also plans to sell its products in Europe.
